Melody Triumph is a Black British writer and programmer raised in a town by the sea. Her poetic and adult fiction explores faith journeys, female adventure, platonic intimacy and alternative images of Black life and story.
Melody was part of the Roundhouse Poetry Collective 2023/2024. She works as a contributing editor for sweet-thang zine. She is currently working on debut novel Zola and novelette Halle.
Melody has also authored the non-fiction children’s title Places in collaboration with The Black Curriculum and DK Publishing. Her upcoming Places and Food chapters with Neon Squid will be released soon for the Useless Facts series.
In her non-fiction children’s work, she covers Black history, archiving, crafts, subcultures and lesser known histories.
